考古是甚麼？ What is Archaeology? (Ages 12-16)

考古學是一門獨立學科，有自己的理論、技術及研究方法。透過科學的理論方法，以田野考古技術，發掘過去人類活動遺留下來的各種遺存，研究古代人類社會歷史。
 
導師簡介︰
考古學畢業，先後參與內地多個考古項目，包括水下考古。積極推動介紹中國考古學，先後到不同中學和公營機構分享考古學的趣味。
 
益處︰
透過實物展示，向小朋友教授正面的考古與文物價值觀，考古不是“挖寶”，強調透過歷史文物遺存，研究古代人類社會的歷史概況。
 
Archaeology is an independent discipline with its own theories, techniques and research methods. Through scientific theoretical methods and field archaeological techniques, we excavate various remains left over from past human activities and study the history of ancient human society.
 
Instructor:
An archaeology graduate who has participated in various archaeological projects in Mainland China, including underwater archaeology. Actively promotes the introduction of Chinese archaeology and has shared the interests of archaeology in different secondary schools and public institutions.
 
Benefits:
Through tangible exhibits, children are taught positive values regarding archaeology and cultural relics, emphasising that archaeology is not about 'treasure hunting.' It focuses on studying the historical context of ancient human societies through historical relics.
